Ever wonder how hard it is to buy a building in the heart of downtown Kansas City? Especially in a hot real estate market? Apparently to Wayne Reeder, “It was like robbing the bank.” although Wayne Reeder is ‘No Angel’  I do admire his curiosity.

According to the KC Biz Journal while visiting his company architect he noticed the buildings, reached out, and was told they would not accept anything less than $3.4 million. Which is a hell of a deal for the 12-story Scarritt Building, 818 Grand Blvd., and the four-story Scarritt Arcade, 818 Walnut St.
